Massage therapy and yoga instruction built on nearly two decades of learning what the body needs to release and restore — from whitewater rivers to a Thai massage school in Thailand, now rooted in Eugene.
Intuitive, yet intentional. Strong, yet sensitive.
I provide therapeutic bodywork drawing on deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Thai massage techniques — adapted to what your body needs in the moment.
Targeted, sustained pressure for chronic tension and old injuries.
Long, flowing strokes for full-body relaxation and circulation.
Supportive, side-lying bodywork for the changing body of pregnancy.
Rooted in ancient Thai healing traditions, this clothed bodywork is performed on a mat on the floor using mindful pressure, assisted stretching, and rhythmic compression along energy lines — often called "the lazy man's yoga."
Flowing, breath-linked sequences in a heated room (104°F). Every class is thoughtfully crafted — from the arc of the sequence to the music to the theme — creating a space where all levels are invited to move, breathe, and be fully present. Taught weekly at Balanced Hot Yoga.
One-on-one instruction, paced and built around your practice.
Sessions tailored to what your body needs that day. Book online through Square and you're all set.
The practice didn't start in a studio.
It started on a river.
Long before rivers or mats, home was the midwest.
Spent the next ten seasons as a whitewater raft guide — and found yoga as the daily medicine for a guide's aches and pains.
Completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training and began what would become nearly two decades of teaching — hundreds of classes, workshops, and students later.
Added energy work to the toolkit before heading overseas.
Guided rafts in Malaysia, then studied traditional Thai yoga massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Trained at the Crestone Healing Arts Center.
Built a massage practice of my own.
Five years in Eugene, with a private massage practice and hot vinyasa classes at Balanced Hot Yoga.
And then there's Agnes — my freckled, four-legged companion. The logo you see is traced from the markings on her back. We found each other, and she hasn't left my side since.
Known for creative and intentional sequencing, I hold space for students to push their comfort zone and leave feeling strong and empowered. All levels are invited. Private yoga sessions also available by appointment.

I love Ashley's classes for the invigorating pace, creative sequences and unique transitions. Her choreography delivers a meditation through movement that strengthens my body, sharpens my focus, and has deepened my commitment to yoga. Ashley cues opportunities to challenge oneself or take rest depending on what one needs from their practice on a given day.
I've been getting massages from Ashley for over a year now. If it wasn't for her intuitive abilities honed by a good deal of diverse training and life experiences, I'm pretty sure I would be bedridden by now. She's a gem of a human and a natural born healer. I'm lucky to know her.
Ashley's classes are the best part of my week! She creates an environment where you feel welcomed, seen, and safe. Her classes will challenge you physically and mentally in all the best ways. I always leave her classes feeling more grateful, grounded, and stronger than I was before!
Ashley has a way of making students feel supported and challenged in equal measure. It's clear that she wants us to feel great even as we continue to grow. Her classes feel organic and fun, but it's clear that she carefully plans every sequence with attention to creating a thorough and energizing practice. I come away from every class — and one on one session — feeling transformed.
Ashley is one of the best LMTs I have been fortunate enough to get a massage from. She is very strong and can really dig into those knots if you want or need that approach. But she also listens to your input and works with you to maximize the benefits of her work. As a middle aged athlete I have benefited immensely from her work and would recommend her services to anyone who struggles with muscle tension or injuries in general. Ashley is also a very talented yoga instructor. Take one of her hot yoga classes and then follow it up with a massage. Your body will thank you for it.
